Care Philosophy
No two women are the same and all deserve safe and satisfying care. I approach women’s health in a personal and sensitive manner. I encourage questions and want the patient to be an active participant in their health care. Nurse Practitioner care is based on a model of health normalcy. Most biological processes in a woman’s life are seen as normal, healthy events. Assessments, screenings and treatments focus on maintaining these normal functions. When health problems are identified, I consult of refer the patient to one of the physicians in our group. Once the problem is resolved, the patient may return to me for continued care.
